Working on my air conditioner

I’ve never been a super big fan of a/c! I don’t like to rely on artificial air, even if it’s cooler for me, because the emissions are not good for the environment, but then with that being said, lately our home city has reached massive heat and humidity levels. The past few afternoons it has been about a hundred five degrees with over 1 hundred percent humidity, however needless to say, it has been so harshly uncomfortable outside & inside the house. I never thought I’d pine for an air conditioning system, however this afternoon I have been searching online for hours for how much it would cost to install central a/c in our home. I already have a central heating system installed, so from what I understand, I can use the air duct from that, and the air blower from our current oil furnace, with the air conditioning system plan which would save me a couple thousand dollars. The plan itself, from what I’ve been seeing, would cost a couple thousand, plus whatever the installation would cost on top of that! Overall, it does seem doable for me, however just not right now. I’ve got too much happening right now to have time for dealing with Heating & A/C specialists, and I also have a lot to focus on currency-wise. I do think that eventually I will install a central a/c. I want a more than one-stage plan that is rated as energy efficient so that I can receive a tax credit. Then, on afternoons like these, I won’t have to be all grumpy because I’m always way overheated. Instead, I would be able to turn on our a/c and the entire home would be cooled.
